At Bungendore Pre-School, children
learn while having fun and making friends. Teaching is through games
and play. Activities include art and craft, outdoor play, construction,
dramatic play, stories, music, movement and dance and much more.
Children aged 3-5 years living in Bungendore and surrounding areas
can come to pre-school one-two days per week. Fees for 2005 will be
$29.00 per day. Reduced fee places are available.
To find out more, contact us any time we are open or come and join
us for a morning or afternoon session with your child. We know you'll

Bungendore Public
School is a rural school in a growing area and our mission is to develop
in students the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for them
to adapt in order to take their place in a changing society. The school's
ethos is to develop the whole child in academic, social and cultural
areas and we work closely with parents and the wider community to
maintain a village atmosphere. Bungendore Public School aims to create
an attractive learning environment and a curriculum that is innovative
and relevant in meeting the needs of all children. There are currently
440 students in 17 classes at the school. Enrolment enquiries are

Wildcare's mission
is to rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured and orphaned
native Australian wildlife. Wildcare maintains a 24 hour/day, 7 days/week
phone service to receive reports on sick, injured or orphaned native
Australian animals. Wildcare is a voluntary community organisation
with no recurrent funding from government. Wildcare relies on membership
fees, grants and donations to finance the services it provides to
the local community.
Wildcare provides educational talks to schools and community groups
and a consulting service for local Government and developers on the
impact of habitat loss to native wildlife. Wildcare also provides
training to local Government and emergency service groups in the
handling and rescue of native wildlife. |

since 1990. We are a registered charity and non-profit organisation
servicing Queanbeyan and the surrounding district (including Bungendore,
Sutton and Captains Flat). Providing early intervention services for
0-6 year old children who have additional needs including home visits,
toy library, communication and general playgroup, inclusive pre-school
integration, holiday program, limited speech therapy and parent resource
