Our band is made up of members from Bungendore and district and we meet for practise every Thursday at the Bungendore Community Centre, Turallo Terrace, Bungendore from 6:30pm to 8:00pm during school terms. Julie Ramos is the conductor and practise entails preparation for future performances. We are always looking for new members — even if you haven't played your instrument in years!

Mirramu Dance Company was formed in early 2002. It is an Australian based contemporary dance company, which presents work in both traditional and alternative venues. It is directed by well-known Australian dance pioneer Elizabeth Cameron Dalman, assisted by dancer/choreographer Vivienne Rogis, who have been working together since 1997.
Mirramu Dance Company believes in sharing and communicating through the creative process, inviting artists from different disciplines to guest with the company. Much of its work is done in an inter-disciplinary and cross-cultural context with high levels of community involvement via workshops, forums and events associated with each professional production.

New classes include ZumbAtomic which fuses dance, music and exercise to create a fun, healthy program for children. Tiny Tots is a program for the early learning years. A theme is chosen and this is explored through movement, fine and gross motor skills, music and coordination. The Fairies is a class for younger children to dress up and use their imaginations as they take on the role of Fairies.
These classes are loads of fun and allow your children to experience a whole new element of dance from all ages!

Country Music Festival held every year on the first weekend in February. When Jim Snow opened the first Bungendore Country Muster in 1986 he predicted a great future for the festival and he got it right. The Bungendore Country Muster has continued and in 2006 celebrated its 21st birthday and each year it continues to go from strength to strength. The Muster is unique in that it is the only “all Australian” country music festival in Australia and has a core policy of existing for the betterment and benefit of the Bungendore community and Australian country music. All money raised during the festival goes to the local community and on improving the facilities for patrons.
The festival is held at the local show ground and over the years the Muster Committee has made improvements with the building of a permanent stage, water tanks and in 2007 assisted with the local community in the installation of an eight cubicle shower block. With the patrons enjoying the atmosphere of staying at the showgrounds this was a much needed improvement.
