Lake FM is owned and operated in the Bywong area by local residents and invites the neighbours to use the Neighbourhood Notice Board for their announcements, Yard Sales, Lost or Found pets and items of general interest. Although weekend and holiday programs are dedicated to the travelling tourist, the weekday programming is seen as a sounding board for neighbourhood issues and local events. |

The Agenda and Minutes of the Palerang Council meetings are available for inspection. Queanbeyan City Library is now providing library services to the residents of Palerang at the Bungendore library.
