www.bungendorefineart.com.au

We are a friendly gallery owned and operated by seven artists. The ever changing display results from a steady turnover of paintings as well as the schedule of exhibitions by partners and guest artists.
Every month a new exhibition is featured and these exhibitions introduce either new painters or well known artists, local or from afar. In the gallery over 150 paintings are on display at any time, from large works through to miniatures, limited edition prints and original cards. The goal is to provide quality art for all interests, tastes and budgets.
We, the artist/partners not only exhibit our work, but are on hand each day on a roster basis to look after visitors. We often paint in between customer visits.

Offering a close friend a beautiful and considered chair to sit on is a quiet pleasure. The hidden detail, never meant for the eye, discovered by a finger's wandering brings a smile. The knowledge that the maker was working for his own spirit as much as for you is apparent in the work.
Dunstone Design crafts contemporary Studio Furniture from the finest Australian timbers and materials. Our makers and designers are professionals who have chosen the long path of craftsmanship; the hand of the maker is evident in all our work.

Bill Southwell

Bill's love of the country motivates his photography which he hopes inspires people to go and have a look for themselves. He has spent many years travelling and often stands in awe and gazes at its abundant beauty, whether it be our vast deserts, mountain ranges or ocean lines.
Bill has tried to capture some of its beauty on film and hopes that his love of this country will show through in his photographs. He prefers not to use filters or any perfection techniques, just the light of the moment. The film used has lovely colour saturation and is one of the sharpest available today. His enlargements are taken from original transparencies and are from high quality materials which are fade resistant.

Tim Anger

Tim Anger has had a keen interest in photography since early high school — his parents buying him his first SLR in 1980. After surrendering to the convenience of compact cameras in the mid 90s and then stubbornly venturing across the divide to digital, his passion for the medium was suddenly reignited by the purchase of a digital SLR in 2007. As a result, he determined to share his passion with a wider audience — beyond his family and friends. If he could, he'd probably spend every waking hour shooting, but there's only so many gigs of data that one man can store. The dedication to accuracy that engineering instils has created in Tim an eye for detail — one which he is now putting to creative use in capturing the world before his lens.

Tim Snowdon

Life drawing has a long tradition, especially in Western Art, where the figure is central to many activities; be they expressions of the human condition or of our relentless need to explore our perceptions of our place in the world. It's interesting to note that since the Renaissance, when the technical abilities developed in that period finally rendered the human form in a manner that satisfies and inspires our emotional, sensual and intellectual responses, little has changed.
The astonishingly beautiful techniques developed by the like of Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael et al have continued to challenge and inspire generation after generation of the visual arts community. Indeed, so established has the study of these 'Old Masters" become that some consider this type of realistic portrayal as an academic, entrenched and archaic branch of the arts, rather than a necessary discipline and an elemental building block of picture making.
It's only drawing however, and the ability to do so is available to all. A simple pad of paper, a pencil or a piece of charcoal is all that's required, along with a couple of hours spent on being challenged and stimulated.
New members are always welcome from local artists to beginners alike.
