All my life I have been steeped in breeding fine quality stock, be they horses, cattle and more recently alpacas. In the application of strict but simple rules, one can breed sturdy, hardy, well conformed animals to survive in all conditions. By refining the animal to its particular attribute — horses for riding disciplines, cattle for the production of excellent carcass weidht, alpacas for the harvest of a commercially competitive wool types — you breed to the highest level possible in that species. At "Wyndarra", by very careful selection of my original herd of alpacas, and selective breeding since working with wool experts, such as Dr Jim Watts, I hope to achieve an advanced white alpaca that will reach my goal to remain breeding only the finest quality.
"Wyndarra" is an operating cattle farm and has all the demands of farming so, whilst visitors are very welcome please ring beforehand to ensure someone is round the homestead to meet you.
