to complement your rural lifestyle. Our aim is to provide high quality
veterinary medicine and great customer service to you 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year, on your farm or in our caring and friendly

In our hospital or for 'on farm' procedures, we have x-ray machines with in-clinic film processing, diagnostic ultrasound machines, endoscopy, an anesthetic machine with “state of the art" patient monitoring equipment, intravenous fluid pumps, an autoclave for instrument sterilization, and microchip scanners. We have a fully equipped small animal surgery, a pathology laboratory on site, a reproduction laboratory for horses, and hospital accommodation for large and small animals. |

| Wildcare's mission
is to rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, injured and orphaned
native Australian wildlife. Wildcare maintains a 24 hour/day, 7 days/week
phone service to receive reports on sick, injured or orphaned native
Australian animals. Wildcare is a voluntary community organisation
with no recurrent funding from government. Wildcare relies on membership
fees, grants and donations to finance the services it provides to
the local community. Wildcare's objectives are: * to rescue and care for native Australian fauna unable to fend for itself, with the best interests of the animal to take precedence at all times. The object being to return the animal to the wild at its original encounter — if unknown then the animal must not be returned to the wild; * to relocate, with the approval of National Parks and Wildlife Service, native wildlife which are under threat or causing distress to the public (eg. snakes); * to train members in the rescue and care of native wildlife; * to alleviate suffering experienced by injured, sick or orphaned animals by seeking prompt veterinary treatment or painless euthanasia; * to publicly encourage the protection and welfare of native wildlife and their habitats; * undertake educational activities with the view to raising public awareness of wildlife issues; * to review policies where necessary in the light of current knowledge and initiate actions in pursuit of our aims and objectives; * to undertake fund raising activities to maintain the viability of the organisation and to achieve our objectives; and * to be of assistance to other groups and organisations where practical, and to exchange information with relevant groups. |

| All
my life I have been steeped in breeding fine quality stock, be they
horses, cattle and more recently alpacas. In the application of strict
but simple rules, one can breed sturdy, hardy, well conformed animals
to survive in all conditions. By refining the animal to its particular
attribute — horses for riding disciplines, cattle for the production
of excellent carcass weidht, alpacas for the harvest of a commercially
competitive wool types — you breed to the highest level possible
in that species. At "Wyndarra",
by very careful selection of my original herd of alpacas, and selective
breeding since working with wool experts, such as Dr Jim Watts, I
hope to achieve an advanced white alpaca that will reach my goal
to remain breeding only the finest quality. "Wyndarra" is an operating cattle farm and has all the demands of farming so, whilst visitors are very welcome please ring beforehand to ensure someone is round the homestead to meet you. |
