WELCOME!!
This website is an information website on Bungendore run by Jane Bloomfield from Odana Editions. We are happy to answer queries on businesses or community groups and welcome your email. However, we are unable to make accommodation or dining bookings.

This website is only as good a reference as the information we are given. If you find anything from a typo to incorrect details on any page, please let us know so that it can be corrected. Your assistance is very much appreciated. Please send emails to Jane.

The Bungendore Visitor Information Centre is operated by Louise Sailer and located at 2/38 Ellendon Street, Bungendore, phone (02) 6238 1422. Information, brochures and maps are available seven days a week from the centre.

More information on Bungendore and surrounds can be found at the Bungendore Chamber of Commerce website and also the Kings Highway to Discovery website. Both of these websites have information on Bungendore and Region.
Canberra Historical Society CANBERRA AND DISTRICT
HISTORICAL SOCIETY
We are often asked for assistance in finding out information pertaining to families who lived in the Bungendore area and unfortunately we are unable to help as there is no longer a Bungendore Historical Society in existence. However, anyone interested in discovering more about their family or the Bungendore area in general should contact the Canberra and District Historical Society which is situated in Canberra in the Curtin shopping area. They hold all of the old records of previous Bungendore Historical groups and the staff are very helpful. Membership is $46 for a single member and concessions apply. Click on their logo to go to their website for further details.
